Wheel spacer pros and cons

I'm looking at Torque thrust/bullit style wheels. I found a one piece billet wheel from Replica that is dirt cheap but only comes as +24 offset in a 17x9; I really need 0 to +10. Found a second wheel that is a two piece with custom backspacing available from vintage wheel works that is almost three times the money.

How big a disadvantage is a 14 to 24mm spacer over a no spacer wheel? If none, what kind of spacers do you recommend ?

Option #3 would be to go with the 17x 8 0 offset. Opinions please.
