      New to Classics

Hey folks, just got a new (old) car and was told to check out this site, as it pretty much exactly falls in line with my goals for the car.

I picked up a '66 Mustang, and once the body work is finished, I'm going to swap in disc brakes, a beefier rear end along with a carbed 302 and a manual transmission. After that, it's all suspension and chassis reinforcements for awhile.

I come from a background of handling-based import cars (my last one was a Honda S2000). I've always been a fan of classic American iron and steel, so I finally went out and got something. The best part of this project is that it's something I can work on with my dad. In the long term, I want something that handles great like I'm used to, but has the torque that I've always wanted.

Here's some pics of the Mustang. It's got a long way to go, but I forsee a very fun process..
