Wow, did the heads survive or did they get slapped by some of the loose stuff?

Thanks again for the ride, was a blast!

Pulled the heads today, when the timing chain broke, it bent all the valves, but it looks like the castings made it.Shattered both pistons, and cylinders. Ron

The headers, enigine management are already LSX.I haven't completely eliminated Ford from my options, but once again I can't get to my horsepower requirements without spending boat loads of cash.I'm seriously looking at an LS3 on another board, what ever it is, I want at least 100HP more then I had with the last setup.

If you had a Ford engine then you would have broken earlier in the day.. lol

Stick with the LS deal.. you already have all the ancillary parts on hand.

And let me know on them internals...

Ron, you mentioned "boat" and "more horsepower" above.

Maybe this motor will do the job???

P.S. That video of the Stang is awesome!

Scored an engine for my car last night.Got an ls7 shortblock with 2,700 miles off LS1 Tech for $3200,drove all the way Pittsburg last night in the driving rain, only to find the rest of the engine also for sale. Ended up getting the whole engine minus throttle body, oil pan ,and pump for just over 5k,I did sell my old wheels for to offset the cost a little bit,so my new title needs to be $19000 Budget Mustang.
