      Arizen seats arrived today!

just want to say thanks to Mark for hooking me up with a killer set of seats. I also purchased a rear cover for the back seat to match the front. I think they turned out awesome. here's a pick of the seat and the car they will be going in. the seats are black with the merlot suede insert.

look great!! Funny cause we went in the same direction with our seats from Arizen. We went with the black outers with the madrid red vinyl inners to match our factory red interior.

Have you installed the rear cover? If you have I would love to see pics. I'm considering using their sseats and would like to see how the rear seat looks. The insert looks great.

      Mark,
Do you have a pattern for the 70 Chevelle rear seat or would I have to send you my old cloth?

I will have to check with the upholstery factory next week. What bodystyle do you have - coupe, conv., etc.?

How do those seats feel? are they plush or hard like most other racing seats?

I got my Arizen seats a couple of weeks ago. I was really impressed with the quality. The craftmanship is very good, the materials are very good, and the customer service is excellent.

The seats in my opinion are not hard but firm. They are very comfortable, yet very supportive (sounds like bra commercial).

      I definitely recommend them.

I have these for my car and really like them. I went with Black leather outside and carbon fiber centers. They also do custom work. Check out the stitching of the name at the top of the seat. Customer service is second to none. Thanks Mark, it's almost finished!

Some basic pricing can be seen on the page below. On the product pages themselves you can pricing on various options. For specific combinations of materials and/or colors we quote according to your requests.

      Arizen

why would it cost more to have a solid headrest? seems like LESS work and parts would be needed.

Because the injection molded foam already has the cutout for the plastic piece. To make it solid we must make a foam sleeve and glue it back in to fill the void.

Do you plan to offer more of a factory style seat for instance the Corbeau GTSII? I like the shape and the fit of the seat but have heard some negative feedback on quality.

We are looking into other models but they were not similar to the GTSII. We should have more information in about 4 weeks.

I am looking at some for a 69 camaro. Do when I purchase the part number for a 69, do they bolt in or require additional work?

First generation Camaro/Firebird's have flat floors under the seat. We offer flat plates that will bolt across our sliders and sit flush on your carpet.

      http://www.arizenracingsports.com/pa...MTBR/FLATMNTPL

This will allow the seat to sit as low as possible but still be raised up with shims if necessary. You would need to make a template of the four holes that are in your floor and mark those locations on the flat plates and drill these four holes. The factory bolts can be used to bolt the plates to the floor on three of the four locations. Because the holes in the floor are offset in the rear compared to the front the the rear inward hole ends up very close to our sliders and it is difficult to get a socket on the bolt without rubbing. A grade 8 allen head bolt with the same thread should be used for this location.

There are quite a few forum members that have already done this and may be able to offer additional insight.
