Vintage air gen IV and factory kick panel vents

Can anyone think of a reason why I couldn't keep my kick panel vents with a Vintage air a/c install. I like the kick vent fresh air.

      Thanks, Lance

Lance on my 70 chevelle with a Gen IV all of the hose's for the AC and heater run thru the pass side vent and out of the firewall in the hole where the blower motor was located.

Lance, what are you trying to install it in? I am putting one in my 68 camaro and it doesn't interfere with the kick vents. Here are some pictures of my install, haven't had time lately to finish the project up, probably next week. https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=33231

The Camaro kit does not come through the kick panels like the Chevelle. Should be no problem.

Just make sure they seal off well when they're closed. We recommend you silicone them shut because they usually leak and kill your cooling capacity. As long as they seal off well, you can keep them functional.

Duh it's in a 69 Camaro. I have the bulkhead fitting so regardless there's no plumbing going thru the vents. Thanks for all the responses
