any 2nd Gen's w/ aftermarket brakes???

I have Wilwood 12.19" discs mounted to my Moser 12 bolt, with staggered shocks. But this combination will not allow the normal mounting of the shocks, as the caliper is in the way. I know others with this same basic combination, that had to weld a new tab on the shock mounting plate, to shift the shock to the inside, to make this work. Anyone have any other answer to this?? BTW, before ordering my new rearend and brakes, I called Moser and got the Wilwood kit number from them..... any help or input would be appreciated
