68 Camaro rollcage the same as a 68 Firebird convertible cage?
The 68 Camaro we're building for the Patriot Dream project came with a new 8-pt rollcage. We don't plan on putting a cage in this car, so I had it for sale. No one has bought it yet, but now I just had idea.
I just sold my 79 SE TA and plan on picking up a 68 Firebird convertible as soon as the guy gets the car out of my driveway. I have a little boy and I wanted to put a 4-pt cage in the car to keep him safe in the back. Now, I realize the cage will need to be bent a little differently, but it is not a pre-bent kit. Will it work in the car? If it does, I'll just buy it off of the project and throw it into storage till I'm ready to install it in the Firebird.
It is a Jegs 8-pt kit.
