      Garage before/after pics

I just finished upgrading the garage. It was cluttered, drab, and left me little space to get work on my Firebird done. Here's before, it looks extra messy as I pulled everything away from the walls to paint.

Progress being made....painted, added some wall cabinets. Stilly messy!

Here's where it is tonight, I still need to do some cleaning/organizing but it's a huge improvement.

Workbench, more cabinets, and new compressor. It sure beats assembling parts on the floor!

Lastly, a closet under our stairwell. It should help clear up the clutter. Next project: the flooring.......and finishing the Firebird.

nice! I like the two tone. I am just finishing my garage as well. I textured and painted the walls, hard wired all my lights and epoxied the floor. i just need to get some cabinets and a workbench i'm done. keep it going.

I got my cabinets and workbench at IKEA. 4 cabinets, 2 36"x30" and 2 30"x30" with doors and hardware for $220. The stainless workbench was $120. I normally hate IKEA furniture but their kitchen cabinets are plenty strong, come in lots of colors and styles, and are cheaper than any "garage" cabinetry out there.

Most of those are empty shipping boxes, but yea the poor Firebird is piled high with crap. I was planning to clean everything up around the car today, but the girlfriend roped me into painting our bedroom.
