'70 Goat in Tampa
Well after lurking here for almost a year I probably should introduce myself/project....lol. Car is a '70 Pontiac GTO convertible originally purchased new by my grandfather. It's a 455 automatic car, cardinal red with sandalwood interior and was originally loaded with just about everything (A/C, cruise control, power top, power windows, am/fm stereo, formula steering wheel..etc.) Car sat neglected for many years and when grampa passed away in '02 Dad and I decided to rebuild, upgrade and get the car in running order again. After a crappy experience with another body shop, Frank and the crew at Prodigy Customs "rescued" the car and have been making huge strides in progress. The plan is not a full out PT car, but we have "modded" the motor a bit, upgraded the suspension, brakes, wheels and tires but plan on leaving the interior mostly stock. The goal is to have the car appear mostly original but perform as if it was built using todays technology. Both rear quarters had to be replaced as grandpa did a bunch of damage back somewhere in the '70s when he got on it at one point, lost it, and managed to take out a large section of chain link fence, which also ripped the rear end out of the car....oops!!...Enjoy the pics and I'll try to post a little bit more this year...lol...hopefully with some completed pics.

Good choice on the bright red. What wheels do you plan to run?

Thanks, I've got nothing but good things to say about the crew at Prodigy Customs. The difference between working with a top notch shop and one that doesn't make the grade is amazing.
