The first 69' Camaro with clear tail lights!

I have been looking for clear tail lights for a 69 Camaro for over 2 years. After seeing the tail lights from Pascual Marquez on the Mule and other cars, I decided to order a pair. The only bad thing was that they had the red lens. I talked to Pascual on the phone and he said he would be more than happy to help me by cutting out the clear lens. I told him I would install the clear lens to see how they looked as a prototype. I also said I would be more than happy to represent his product on my car. I will install LED lights very soon after I modify the light housing.
Edit:Here is the website for Pascual Marquez
With that said here is the first set of clear tail lights on a 69 Camaro!
      8 pics total.

I like the look. it would look real smooth on a white car or a lighter colored car. now on a darker color car....it might not look right......I would be curious to see how it would look on my black 68. does he make them and whats invloved. lmk!!!

      thanks, colt45

There are plenty more products in development. Pascual is only just getting started with his ideas. Stay tuned...

Very nice! I agree though that the color of the car somewhat dictates the color of the lenses to look right.

I WANT THAT ON MY CAR!!!

I have soldered together LEDs for my taillights and I wanted some white glasses, like the clear ones that are so popular on Japs (I think they call them Lexus lights)

This glasses would work for my setup. Here in Europe we have yellow turn signals, but on older cars reds are OK.

But with these glasses I could have yellow LEDs for turn- and red for brake-lights.

They are just prototypes, I will make proper cards to solder on when I tested them. The LEDs have a really strong luminence. I thought that if you have really good brakes the guy behind you must see when you brake.

Thank you for the positive feedback everyone.
My car will be silver once I paint it. Yes the lights look way better in person that they do in the pics from my crappy camera.
Dash isnt finished but it took me around 6 hours to install it. Thats not including cutting out the old dash. It also isnt finished yet so I still have probably another 4 or 5 hours left of wiring and other misc stuff.
Jan that LED setup looks awesome!!! Great idea about the different color LED in ther like yellow for turn and red for brake!
I know these lights might be a shocker to some but as most of you know I HAVE to be differn't and I have always wanted clear lights. :D

Jan, it's in the works (as are plenty of other cool things). It's going to be really trick, but I don't want to let the details out just yet.

Also, I should be adding some detail shots of the RS style to www.MarquezDesign.com tonight.

      Scott,
Shhhh not supposed to say anything yet.......
I will be getting pics of my car in the sunlight tonight some time so I will have some better pics to post hopefully. Instead of sitting in my yard. They look way better in the light.

The only hint I will give is if you have some extra money burning in your wallet, save it. Any other info you should get ahold of Pascual. ;)

Not true Adam, it works in addition to the tail light lenses, not as part of it.

If you're on the fence about these billet lenses, go ahead, pull the trigger. You'll love them.

      clear???

adam, they look nice, but i really think that the color of the car will make or break the clear lens's, i do not really think it works with every color, but i want to see some more before i make my decision
