Cracked front Subframe, what would you do?

I found a crack on the front subframe of my '68 Camaro today, it runs from the centre weld and up under the steering box. It's beyond my capabilities to decide if it can be repaired safely, so I'm waiting for a professional frame builder to look at it for me. Would you bother repairing a stock frame? replace it with another? Or bite the bullet and put an aftermarket one on if you have to pull it all to bits anyway?



If I go aftermarket, what's the cheapest option anyone recommends?
