Kentucky noob
Hey guys, long time looker first time poster here. My name is Neil, I'm from Owensboro. For the last 10-12 years i've been doin the street rod thing, but have recently developed an itch for a PT, so i sold my 37 coupe and bought a 67 camaro to scratch it with. The plans for the new car are: LSX/paddle shifted auto, mini tubbed, full airide suspension, C5/LS1 brakes, & silver paint with black leather interior. This will be my first foray into the world of fuel injected muscle so there is gonna be a steep learning curve, but with the wealth of knowledge on this site and LS1 tech hopefully it wont take me too long to reach my goals with this car. Me and my Dad just recently finished putting together a 67 Buick GS. It was ordered new by my Dad in 66 and has been with us ever since. It sat in storage for over 20 years, until late 2006 we decided to pull it out and see what we could make of it. It is running the original 400 engine/trans. with factory air cond. It has air ride suspension on the front, but is all stock in the rear except for having a coil cut from the springs. It has 20x8" Billet Specialties on the rear and 18x7"'s on the front. The entire car was built by me and my Dad in a span of about 6 months I did all of the interior work myself and all of the bodywork, but had a buddy spray the paint. I dont really consider it to be a PT car but is a super fun car to drive.
