Billet Oldsmobile SSII/SSIII wheel Production update

First off, I want to thank everyone that has filled out and submitted information into the “Interested Parties” link on the StreetsmartClassics.com web site. I also want to encourage anyone with an interest to please go to the link and submit the basic information that I’ve requested. This information will not be shared and is only used for my record keeping and production projections. Many of you have asked about prices and time lines and I will not answer them until I have concrete numbers to give you. Those numbers will depend on the finalization of the wheel’s manufacturing process. I am currently trying to find ways to maintain the high quality that I require while keeping the prices at a minimum for all. I am not an established, big name billet wheel manufacturer, so I’m not receiving the mass quantity discounts that those guys get. Unfortunately, this drives the price of my wheel up. I have contacted many of the billet wheel manufacturers in the industry, but none of them show an interest in helping to produce this wheel for us.



With the above being said, I’m putting out this call for assistance: Anyone in the 2 piece billet wheel industry that is interested in partnering or sharing in the construction of this wheel OR anyone in the manufacturing industry that has a vertical CNC (20 inches of “Y” travel req’d) sitting around doing nothing, who would like to help out the Olds community, PLEASE contact me at: [email protected]
