17x9.5 how low can I go

Putting 17x9.5 rear wheels 5.5 backspace on a 67 camaro with 275 40 nittos I have done a lot of looking and I cant really find any post saying they will fit a lowered car so how low can I go? Any body got any rear view pics with those sizes on a first gen.

I have 275/40/18 Falkens on the rear of my Hotchkis lowered camaro. Ill get pics for you tomorrow.

is that a 2 or 3" drop

1-1/2" now, but im adding 2" lowering blocks soon. Theres tons of room to slam the rear before i hit anything. If it makes you feel any better, i can fit a 285/35/18 in the rear with about 1/2" clearence from the fender lip. Im gonna roll the lips and hit the hell out of the inner fender well so i can squeeze some 295's in there.

Oh yea here are the pictures. These are with the my old air shocks but with my regular konis the tires are tucked maybe 1" inder the fender lip.
