Can we see some El Camino pics??

I'm hoping to pick up an 85 Elco tomorrow and would like to see some pics of the Elco projects going on here. Any and all years are fine with me.

Hey Jim, she's street legal in California now (no more 'special' smogs). Brakes are done just need to get the interior done. But that's going to have to wait until after summer. Working on a bathroom remodel now, I hate bathroom remodels . No new pics of it right now other then the brakes.

Poltergeist, I am trying to figure out how I am going to route my ignition wires on the passenger side. Any chance you can send me a few pics of how you did yours? I was thinking of going around the accessory bracket like the factory did & then up over the headers. Is that what you did?
      Thanks,
      Scot

Scot I tried to take pictures but there was not enough room to see anything. My wires are between the motor and braket on the passenger side. Then they went up and over the top of the headers when I had them on. Since I had to take it to Cali BAR to get the motor certified I put the stock Impala manifolds on. Now the wires go under the manifold and then up to the plugs. I know there is a slight difference between the F-Body and G-Body (I have) brackets, I'm not sure which one you have.

Looking good guys. I love well done Elkys and the GMC equivalent whose name is escaping me right now.

Scott, with my Formula I ran the wires under the headers just like the factory did with the manifolds. It's a tight fit but I got it to work fine. I run MSD wires.

I'm not sure if there is room to run the wires between the bracket or not with an F-Body. For me there was an opening big enough to get the wire through without having to worry about them being cut/or fraied.
