Bumblebee Camaro wheels? What 2 do?

Well, some of you might know that I'm clonning my Camaro into the Transfomers 2nd gen. Camaro. Anyways, I wanted to slap on some Boyd- Junk Yard Dog wheels. 19's in the back and 18's in the front but that would kill the whole image for the movie car.

Should I keep the wheels I have now and keep it close or upgrade?

BTW, I'm doing this because I think kids would love to see a cloned car from the movie at car shows and parades. I personally know I flipped when I saw a black Charger that looked like Vin Desiels when I was in highschool.

Plus I like the movie. lol Your .02?

If its gonna be a clone then, are you gonna add the massive amounts of rust that was present on the movie car to yours also?

And id keep with the wheels close to the movie car.

NO, the rust spots look like crap and take away from the car IMO. Plus the car just got painted. lol

Paint on the rust like Holleweird does.

wait, if your trying to make a bumblebee clone... why is your car red...

if you aren't doing a full on clone of the car, i wold say get some nice looking wheels, like the junk yard dogs, rather than getting something that intentionally looks bad.

I'd get the wheels with a dark gray center, paint it yellow/black, add a rear spoiler and ditch the hood. I think it would look pretty cool actually!

BTW Do you have a "high rise double pump carburator"

oh hah. you said "Plus the car just got painted", so i assumed that the red in the pictures was the finished car.

I say run the ET on all 4 corners, and skip the Cragars in front.

Engine is almost as sexy as her. Too bad Hollywood screws up the car part, even when it is a car movie.

As for the double pump carb comment...I too laughed out loud in the theatre...followed by a loud ....WHAT???...

After getting some ugly stares from some folks, I settled in for the rest of the movie. After explaining the moment to my wife, she made a pretty good assumption-

Hollywood probably CGI'ed in a kick ass engine because the whole POS carbed motor in a super-advanced robot thing was weird. At that point, it was probably a waste for them to go back and redo her talking about the motor.

Now when I watch the movie, I CRINGE when I hear that, "ooooh double pump carberator--looks like your distributor cap is loose!"
      BLAH! ARGGGGGGG!!!

I've been trying to get in contact with the winner who paid $40K on Ebay for one of the originals but he/she wont reply.

I doubt they used cgi for the engine shot. They just took it from a diff vehicle.
