      Deck tech

Next weekend I am putting a new deck on the house(stupid house taking money and time from the car). Anyway I plan on pouring the columns either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. Code requires that I put the columns 36" below grade and I cannot put the 4x4 posts into the concrete. I must attach them on top of the column with a metal plate. That is not a big deal however, I am time crunched here. How soon after I pour the concrete can I install the posts without messing with the concrete? Weather is forcast to be sunny mid 60s and low humidity. If I can get them in Thursday I am not worried, but I do not think I can get them by then. I am betting on Friday morning.

I would like to have the structure framed by Friday night and lay the decking and stairs on Sat with the rails on Sunday. I already have the column locations laid out and the ledger plate on the house. So how long do I need to wait to be safe?

I have an unlimited budget. That bad part is I have already used it up.
