      Anyone using Arizen seats

Is anyone currently using Arizen seats . What do you think of them quality and finish wise? What do you think of the quality vs. corbeau?

I have a set of Arizen seats; they're great: excellent quality and finish, and Mark is a pleasure to deal with. Much better than Corbeau, IMO.

What a riot, with that roll bar sitting in the back seat must feel like a roller coaster

I thought the same thing when I was making sure

the rear seats would go back there. I did not want to not have a back seat...although I don;t even let my kids ride back there because of the cage.

I ordered a set about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Mark provides excellent customer service.

      yes they are very comfortable

I sat in a set of Corbeau's and they were to tight for day to day driving.

Everyone that has sat in them say they love them.

I have a set and have put over 4K miles on them this year. They are very comfortable. The bolster frame bracket on one of my seats did come loose. I assume the weld broke at one end.

What mounting brackets did you and Payton use to mount them on your camaros? I didn't see an option for a mounting bracket for a first gen camaro.

I am a big guy @ 6'2" and 250lbs and I am very comfortable in them, even in day to day driving. I purchased the seats with the wide bottoms so that does make a difference.

I used the universal flat mount plates from Arizen. I drilled them to provide as much rearward movement I could get. I'm 6'4"

Here are a couple pics from my cardomain:

The sliders come with the seats so litterally it's the two plates that are horizontal in the above pic. Two bolts on each plate to the slider and two to the seat pan. Pretty simple really.

EDIT: Two observations that might help others. I wanted these seats as low as possible so I did not install the spacer nuts provided from arizen between the sliders and seat. So when I pull up on the slider adjuster it's a little tough to slide the seat sometimes since the adjuster has less upward travel before hitting the seat cushion. I also didn't put any spacer between the plate and slider so if you try to slide the seat forward it doesn't travel the complete range of the slider and instead hits one of the bolts to the seat pan. But even with the plates mounted as far back as possible the seat still travels far enough forward for anyone probably taller than say 5'5" to drive comfortably.

They have a wide selection of colors. You could send them a pice of the material you want matched and they might be able to do it.

      Chad,

If you remove the slider pull bar you can easily adjust it so you can pull up without hitting the seat bottom. Just put the pull bar in a vise and change the angle slightly where it attaches to the slider. Being tubular it will adjust easily and once you get the handle to sit lower in the front you will be able to pull up without hitting the bottom of the seat and the sliders should slide freely.
