      New Member from Woodstock, GA

Just wanted to introduce myself and say "thank you" for this forum.
My name is Mark Keenum. I'm 51 years old & I guess this is my mid-life crisis.
I have not really fooled with cars since my early 20's (Wow! That's 30 years ago!). So, blame it on what you will, I bought a '67 Nova SS in June of this year.
Well, it didn't take long for me to realize that this was not how I remember the muscle cars of my 20's. This car handled terribly & the brakes left a lot to be desired.
Long story short......The Internet. A little bit of research showed me that I was not alone. It is truly amazing what is out there to feed my jones.
My car is currently in the shop getting a 4 link, mini-tub's, & 9" rear (can I say the name of the shop?).
I look forward to what I can contribute and glean from this site. I will take pictures of my progess in the hopes it will inspire.
Here's a "before" picture. "In progress" to follow.

Welcome Mark, I live in Dallas, Ga., it's good to see a new Georgia member. Yes you can mention the shop doing the work and post progress pics. Just start a thread in the project update section.

Yes, I go to Riverstone Plaza in Canton when I can. I'm really impressed with the quality & number of cars compared to other shows in the area.

And Venomous Type, I guess you know why my car looks familiar. My car is also at Road Killer Kustoms.

Just like Venomous, my 72 challenger is getting worked on at Road Killer Kustoms in Canton. If you need anything done, you would be stupid to go anywhere else. Trust me!

Hey. Sounds like I'm on here with a bunch of "enablers". No chance of kicking my habit on this forum.

I'm glad to know there are so many GA/local folks here. I'm also glad to hear so many positive things said about David Sloan.

As far as the Canton show goes, it is the best I've been to in this area. I work every other weekend but I go when I can.

Venomous, those wheels weren't under the back of my car when you saw them..... were they? 8^)

The car will get a CA front clip & 2" drop spindles. Check this car out for what I'm after:
