4l80e vs. t400+gear vendors
I currently have a gear vendors od, and a turbo 400 trans. Was considering going to a 4l80e but have a couple questions...
1. Which setup is more efficient in terms of power robbing, I would assume the gear vendors uses more power, as there are effectively 2 transmissions in the car.
2. Which weighs more? I have heard that the 4l80e is a pretty hefty trans, but is it lighter than the 400 +GV?
3. Which setup is more bulletproof?
