How hard is it to install this unit??
Do you need to modify anything or is it direct bolt on??
Thanks
09-04-2007 #4It was a direct bolt on for me. maybe took a half hour. It's a little bit easier to install if you have the rest of the suspension apart doing a rebuild like I did but that's not necessary. You can get it in there according to hotchkis' instructions with a little turning/twisting, etc in about an hour, two at most. You might scratch it up a little bit in the process, but if you're worried about it you could wrap it in painters tape.

jknight,
Thanks for all the great info!! I will be ordering it today or tomorrow..
Do you run a rear sway bar?? If so any info on that??
The car has DSE MiniTubs, will that effect anything??
Thanks
09-04-2007 #6No problem skeeter, glad to help.I don't think you'll have any problems with the mini-tub, though, don't think it makes a difference.
I don't currently run a rear sway bar, since i really don't think its necessary for how I intend to use the car (street w/ occasional autocross). I'm by no means an authority on the merits of using a rear sway bar though. But I'm sure some other guys can chime in here or you would probably be well served to do a search for rear sway bar. I know it has been discussed in great detail in the past.Jeff K.
