in gettng the wife on board. Try dragging your project along as far as possible so she finally gives up and yells at you to "JUST FINISH THE DAMN CAR ALREADY!" Ok ma'am. Whatever you say.

The car just moved from the fab side to paint side and we just went over a rough estimate for the paint work and she was none too happy. But after telling her what other people charge she turned her anger from the paint guy to me for wanting to do this expensive project in the 1st place.

I heard the same words last year about this time. It went from complaining about how much it was costing to how much will it take to just get that thing done.

The wife was reluctantly on board. I had to tie her up and toss her on the ship kicking and screaming.

Good news is that now that my car is done, she actually likes to go to some shows and cruises. Hopefully yours will as well.

It's wierd that they are just fine with going to New York to Canal St to buy a Louis "Faux"ton or a "Foach" purse, but when it comes time for me to buy one for her...

And as far as ERNRONing the numbers, her degree is in business finance- with an emphasis in accounting. Can you say itemized receipts?

Honestly though, I have to admit she's been a good sport considering this isn't really a hobby of hers. I hope that when it is done she will start to enjoy al of the cool stuff that goes with it like cruising and car shows.
