      globalwest UCA & LCA

      working on the 67 lemans installed the globalwest control arms and went to install the Hellwig sway bar and the links on the lower arms dont line up? I have double checked all the part numbers and they are correct for the car. I am a ford guy workin on a chebby maybe thats the problem

      Was the car in the air or on the ground when you tried installing them? It should be done while at ride height.

      I thought Pontiac made the Lemans, not Chevy. You don't even know what car it is, maybe that's the problem.

      You don't have the bar on upside down do you... I only ask because it kind of looks like it should mount that way. Don't ask me how I know this.

      it was off the ground when I tried to install it so I will try it on the ground.. Ok it doesnt carry have the Blue Oval ...sorry to any Pontiac or Chebby guys that I made mad =)

      WOw are these thing alway a PITA to install? the KYB shock lower mount holes had to be made bigger? We did the get the sway bar on but it sure seemed like a tight fit.. like the links on the are were alittle off. I will get it to the shop and put it on the drive up rack to see how eveything looks in the next week or 2

      Did you lower the car during this time? Did you get shorter end links to match if you did? Also, GW LCAs have a thicker flange the end link goes through, so longer bolts may be needed. I know I needed 1/2" longer than came with my Energy suspension end links.

      The car was on the ground when we put the sway bar on.. The arms came with there own links.. I will take some pics and post them up.
