Anyone use the CPP big brake kit??

I am looking at it for my 69 Camaro..
Just wondering how well it works? I plan on using a power booster also..

      Thanks

No personal experience, but here's my $.02...and keep in mind that I'm a big proponent of C5/C6 brakes, so take it with a grain of salt. From those who have run the CPP setup, I've heard that the pedal feel is marginal which I would contribute to the large piston area and possibly the open-center, parallelogram design of the caliper mounting brackets. There's a reason the C5/C6 stuff is popular...it works, and it works well. As with any brake system, if it was all about brake torque then huge pistons and huge rotors would be the answer. But since most performance brakes are limited by the tires more than anything else, modulation is more important to get the maximum performance from your brake package, regardless of what it is. Big piston calipers can generate lots of brake torque with minimal effort, but can also be difficult to modulate and threshold brake effectively.
