What's up with Racetech?...in Portland, Oregon

Anyone know what's up with these guys? Ordered parts from their website and nothing. Filed claim with paypal after 3 weeks with no email, phone call or anything. Called last week and no response. They are located in Portland, Oregon.

Paypal sided with me, but bank account(racetech's) has no funds for refund.

Sounds like they are scamming to me. A guy claiming to be Russell anwsered one email for some Qa1 shocks and then wouldn't reply to email any longer.

Next stop is thier local police department.

I ordered some parts from there as well. They take a while to ship, but you will get them. They are a distributor for Speedtech and I thought that since Speedtech never answered the phone these guys would be better. I got my parts in 3 separate shipments

Well it's been almost 5 weeks now...still no returned phone calls and no refund! I'm not buying the excusses any more. Whoever is responding to [email protected] says that the owner is sick...that's fine, just get me a refund.

Someone has access to the checking account that paypal deposits are made to...whoever that is is draining the account.

I would suggest that no one places an order via paypal with them if you do at all....i know i won't be ordering anything ever again from them.

They have until the end of the week before this gets elevated.

Meanwhile they keep updating the website and removing products.

I've been told that Russell has health issues and is now back home....apparently mid-August he should be cleaning everything up...but we'll see.

I used them previously and didn't have any problems. He sent me a racetech shirt with the parts I ordered. This has been 1-2 years ago.

I'm thinking that no one is going to be there. Their webguy is probably off-site doing the updates from his home.

If it's true that russell is out sick, that's unfortunate. However, he still should be able to contact his webguy and tell him to put up a statement to help protect the business' reputation...at least that's what i would do with my business.

Well now they have removed all the reviews from people that are getting scammed. It's obvious that someone is updating the website and paying the hosting bill still.

I'm pretty convinced now.

For anyone else that isn't getting a refund or the products you ordered...join me by filing your own complaint about your expericance with racetech at www.ic3.gov and contact the portland police dept. and let them know what's going on.

Warning #1: russell's email is no longer working... user doesn't exist errors.

Warning #2: Still no refund and no returned calls.

Their website is still up and running...although minus all of the products they had listed before.

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
