      finally saying hey,

After visiting this site for almost 5 mos. now , I am finally saying hello! My name is Shawn Kitchen, Live in Broken Arrow, Okla. Have a beautiful wife, and two adorable kids (both girls!) WE currently own 9 cars (I know) 2001 odyssey (my current truck) more about the sub later..

1996 impala SS that I bought new, sadly has to leave, so we can get a real truck, (no pic, sorry) 1996 dodge intrepid one of our asst. pastors gave to us... for sale! 1966 SS396 chevelle, my first car, resto back in end of 1993, 468 installed in 1996, has gone thru NUMEROUS tires (549hp) rear main is leaking like a sieve currently, car does not get driven hardly at all I was in the middle of putting painted steel wheels on it when BFG discontinued my front tire size That's why the exceptionally nice fronts on the car!

next!, one roller 69 camaro, needs doors, floor, 1/4s, later project. 4 basic parts cars.. 1 69 bird,2 69s, 1 67 vert (burnt). our current project.... 69 RS getting the full protouring treatment! this is what it looked like mar 24th when we got it home

it is currently a shell! (our youngest, giving me kisses!)

subframe just got sandblasted today, may DP90 tomorrow, have ordered suspension parts and brakes from Tyler at ATS. My younger brother owns a twin turbo 91 firebird (twins are new for this year, m u s t h a v e m o r e p o w e r!!!!) about 2400 last year (7.20@204 10.5 outlaw car) about 3200 this year, MFI. getting ready for some paint not yet out, maybe by mid aug.

He owns his own shop (paint/collision & custom) and works on some pretty cool stuff from time to time.... ( my oldest )

When I worked for him in 2002, we worked on none other than Shazoom. had a 35 mm back then need to get pics scanned. It was being transported to CA for an auction in a dbl decker semi and the guy forgot to tie it down!!! yeah, needles to say , it bad. both fins were jacked up, along with the roll pan in the back, we had 5 days to fix it (3 Guys) Painted the whole back half, made the deadline and looked great was pretty cool deal, our Dad was excited to say the least. Any way that's all for now I'll try to keep you updated on progress on the camaro,BTW I have painted cars professionally for 20yrs and one of our good friends is a fabricator that builds mostly race cars but can (and does!!!) build ANYTHING, my brother firebird was built by him (Jeff Holloway) and my bro Todd in 6mos. the first go around. from $500 beater to 7.80s in less than 7 mos.! need to go Shawn

      Welcome to the site, Shawn.

I fixed the post such that all of the pics are stacked vertical; it's much easier to read now.

Looks like you've got some cool projects.

That's a new (2006?) Ford GT being sprayed in the classic GT40 scheme, right? That's pretty cool, if so!

Thanks Ralph for fixing my post! The GT came that way to my understanding, don't really know all that much about the fords (although I think they are cool) we have just always had GM.
