Yeah, it's stiff, but driveable. Actually, I drove it from Colorado to the Florida keys and back, and all over the western U.S. so I guess I'm used to it.
(I should have used thumbnails before, sorry 'bout that.)

      Thanks guys

Psybock, yeah, I've owned the car for 22 years.

Started getting somewhat serious back in 1988.
Good luck with yours, it looks much better than mine did when I started.

      I resemble that one...

      Hi Don,
Sweet RS, would love a ride in it someday (if you're ever in Northeren California, let me know). I also have VB components front and rear. No issues to date, stiffness has not bothered me. I have owned my 71 Camaro since 1985, purchased my rear VB stuff in the late-80's and front VB stuff in the early-90's. I have the 200# rear springs, and am near completion of my minitub project that moved the springs inboard of the frame rails and raised the mounting points up some to keep the car low. I will be re-engineering the front frame soon to fit bigger tires while staying very low (love that VB adjsutability up front).

      Coincidence

Jeff, we must have done our VBP mods at the same time...89 and 96 here too.

I went a little more conservative on the tire/wheel combo.

285/40/17's and 255/40/17's. I just got the Boyd's Smoothie II's and Nitto 555's last year.

My next thing is the Baer brake set.

      Nice to hear from you.

      That is a coincidence...

I will post my car profile as soon as it is running again. Moving the rear springs way in will definitely increase body roll, but keeping the car low and running the Herb Adams rear bar that connects to the stock points should help a lot. Can't wait to get mine close to the point where yours is. I recently painted my rear VB springs with flexible paint to minimize chips and stuff, came out great. Take it easy,

That's a good idea on the painting of the springs, I didn't think of that.

Usually when I mention the springs I get the: "Those break!"......I've never broken one, and I'm also running them on the back of my 67 with much more torque than the 70.

I guess if I was to sidestep the clutch and and spin over changing surfaces or something....I'd say it takes a pretty good "shock" to snap one.

Anyway, take care, and post some pics when you can.
