      Vintage Wheel Works

Anybody here have any experience with Vintage Wheel Works? I really like some of the designs and the wheel sizes, but I have no knowledge of their customer service and all the things that go into making a purchase with them. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I had the vintage 45's, great quality and service. I broke a center
cap and they sent me a free one.

You can get their wheels through PRRC, who is on this site. I got my v45 from them, good price and no shipping!

I bought my V45's directly from them. The customer service is outstanding.

Rusty is a great guy to deal with. If you are a cheap a$$ like me, check their website for their blem list. Even better deals can be had.

I picked up my v48s this way and could only find the blem 1 of the 4 wheels.

I apologize, but are you referring to VWW's page? I did not see a blem list.

      Dale,

Sorry, I was referring to their old site. I dont see a list on the new one. It wouldnt hurt to give em a call, as they usually had a few sets available at any given time.

Sweet! A blemish is nothing a little rouge and a polishing wheel can't take out! Hahaha!

Funny thing is... Rusty's idea of a blem wheel is a wheel that looks like it was just mounted and then driven around the block. I purchased a set of blems about 10 years ago... and then shortly there after an A-line set. I couldnt tell them apart.

Anyway... Rusty is probably one of the best customer service cats in the biz. He'll workout any situation no matter what it is. The best part... he'll do it without you knowing... just for a surprise. You call him with a wheel problem... and the next day the big brown truck is dropping off the solution... free of charge.

I just cant wait to see the 18 wheel line... especially the 18x9.5 V40's...

This is good advice and I know some that have purchased at significant savings buying blems.I bought mine from Newstalgia for this car:

But somehow they ended up on this car...on the current cover of CHP magazine:

And now I can't get them off there...

Rusty is a great guy to deal with and their wheels are 2nd to none in terms of quality.

Probably the best bang-for-the-buck wheel on the market. I'm on my second set, as is a friend of mine.

      18 x 9.5" eh?

I'd like to get a set of 18x9.5 for the front and 18x12 for the rear. I've got so much fender width in the back that I wanna fill it up. Wheel travel limitations? No worries! I made sure that I have enough clearance up top.

Does anybody know if they will offer a 18 X 12" wheel? The widest 17" wheel they show on their web page is 11".

I wish there was some off-the-shelf software where one can play around with wheel/tire sizes, offsets and back-spacing and actually see the visual of what the wheel/tire package would look like front, rear side and inside. Knowing my luck, something like that already exists! )
