      Flush gas caps ??

Probably a stupid question. But, what is the best way to indent/flange my rear panel to flush mount a gas cap like this ??? Hope Steve doesn't mind me using his pic ....

If I recall correctly, Larry is looking into making a weld-in panel for fitment in other applications.

I have a Cool Cap from air ride Technologies and they have a panel cutter/die and I think it makes it flush too. Gotta look into it soon as I intend to have the Monza driveable by September.

Well Larry told me that his fit the 67/8 Camaro stock panel. So all I need to do is buy a used or partially messed up one that has good metal around the gas lid and trunk lock area. Then I can use that as a patch panel on my 67 'Bird.

I picked up a tank at a motorcycle junkyard and welded the top into my new tailpanel. The link below shows what I did.
