Finally a Garage to Work In!!

      Hey Fella's

I have been away for a couple of months. I bought another house, so I have been trying to move all my junk. And make the wife happy with the paint in all the rooms. I could not build a garage at my other house, so I bought a house with a garage. I wouldn't have built a garage like this, but a divorce sale made it to good to pass up. It is 36x36 with heat and air upstairs and down. It has a 15x30 bonus room with a half bath. The room is carpeted and sheetrocked all it needs is a flatscreen, couch and beer fridge.

Mike, that's awesome. That's just what the wife and I are looking for. Someting with property and a shop built on it. You scored the mother load on that one.

I gave up my 40x30 when moved to our last house. This one is a whole lot better. The house is nice to. It is all brick with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths 2200 sq ft. 2 acres, irrigation system. The former owner spent a lot of money on it. I have got the house pretty much organized, now it is time to get back to work on my 68 and 69 Camaro's. I have already broke the neighbor's in with the 68. It has a 350 with a solid lifter racing cam and a set of mufflers if you want to call them mufflers. My neighbor plays drums in a rock band so I have entertainment about 2 nights a week. Maybe I can convert some of the neighbors to PT folks

Oh man! And I was going to be happy to have my shed/workshop (12'X24') done so I could clean out my garage enough to actually work in it!

      We are not worthy!

Jealous! That type of property doesn't exist in or around So-Cal, at least not for under ~$1.5mil.

I appreciate the great comments!! I have waited a long time for this type of home and garage. It just proves that if you work hard anything is possible, plus my wife (of 13 years) works just as hard as I do. All of you know there is a catch to this . My wife wants a pool installed since I have garage.

Ha! That sounds familiar. Except my wife wants the pool before I build the garage. I have a standard 2-car that just doesn't cut it and a perfect area on my property for a 2-car + workshop.

Your garage is perfect. Exactly what I would like to build. Now if I could just stop spending money on the cars maybe I could get one (after the pool).

Man .. very nice score. Makes me more anxious to start on my 30x40 garage. But I think we are going to wait till late Sept or early Oct to start. Want to wait for the hurricane season to end before we start it. I'm luck inthat my wife wants the garage instead of a pool ...
