Flame it or not?

I am thinking about having some flames like these painted on my Buick. What's everyone think?







Thanks all. Oh yes...since this picture of my car was taken...I've put the Baer brakes on it and have dropped the front end about an inch thanks to a Stage 2 kit from Mark at SC&C.

YES!!! but I personaly would love to have flames on even my commuter kia if my wallet would allow it... lol

I think the flames would draw attention detracting from the sharp clean look of the car. If you want to paint something how about the spoiler to give the front a lower ground hugging look?

Absolutely! That's a clean car and has way too many sharp edges for a set of organically shaped flames. Also keep in mind there's only a few dozen guys in the world who can do the real flames correctly. Most others look like someone puked through an airbrush.

The only G body I've ever seen with flames that didn't look too bad was the old Duttweiler GN. I saw it maybe 6 or 7 years ago, but it had flames that went down almost the entire side of the car. It looked cool, but I still don't think the G-bodies lend themselves to flames too much either. I agree with everyone else and say the car's got too clean of a line and look (especially yours) to put anything on.
