I'm trying to figure out the need for the giant hydraulic shock holding up the rear decklid. Is the decklid made out of lead?

I was thinking that it was one of them hydraulic contraptions. I'll bet you could put a football on the trunk lid and send it through the uprights.

Either that or he might be delivering parts for CAT equipment.

I guess the guy is used to offroading. The "Everything MUST be oversized" mentality...

I mean, a small actuator on the side of the trunk lid would've worked just as well. Someone must not have told him the trunk lid is sprung..

Is that car entering the Baja 500 this year?

Just kidding, but people really need to learn that these cars need to be lowered if you are upgrading to larger wheels/low profile tires. You can tell it was built by a shop that is trying to appeal to the Pro-Touring movement, but really has no clue what P-T is all about.

BTW, that trunk strut is a little excessive don't you think? I think whoever ends up buying it is going to get knocked out by the trunk lid in the near future.

Looks like a nicely done car, just not my style.

But the pinic basket in the trunk mitigates all the horrific things already mentioned and totally "classes up" the whole ride. You can find the picnic basket right next to the classy Marlboro notebook in the trunk. It kinda gives the ride an english country side cruiser feel with a bit of Marlboro man americana mixed in. You guys obviously don't get what the seller/builder was going for here.

I am pretty sure that the GIGANTIC RAM in the trunk is to tip it over -- should it end up on its roof while Off Roading.
