      New member sayin HI

      I'm new to this site and wanted to say hi. I am in the process of rebuilding my 72 mercury comet gt into a convertible g-machine. Nobody I know would help me build it. They all wanted me to build a drag car out of it. Every time I tried to talk to my mother's boyfriend he would say if you want it to go in a straight line I'm the man to talk to but if you want it to corner talk to someone else. I am so glad I found this site. I want a 300-660+hp motor, 6spd, 8.8 or 9" rear, corner carving, butt kicking comet gt that can get between 20-30+ mpg.

      Welcome aboard. There is a Maveric in the car section for you to look at and get Ideas. We maybe harsh at times when an issue of safety is invloved I hope this doesnt discourage you from the board but we want our members safe not dead...
      Nothing says "I built this" better than tool marks and dykem blue..
