Meeting in the middle is the easiest way to get more people together and this is a great idea, but do they have the staf to pull it off?

I could be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure that the street rodders have been doing this sort of thing for years - It's caller Americruise I believe.

They start from different corners, and meet in the middle for a grand hoopla. Then "everyone" is happy. Sort of.

Don't know if that is still around, but it's the Power Tour of street rodding, at least it used to be.
