Driveshaft or Pinion Mounted Parking (Emergency) Brake System...

      HELP...
I purchased a Baer Rear Brake System that doesn't have any provisions for a Parking (Emergency) Brake. If you have (or had) this kind of "encounter", what did you do ?? Did you mount up a Driveshaft or Pinion mounted System ? What "brand" did you go with ??

      What?

What Baer system did you buy? You should not have to do that.

      Try Google and Eynstein (sp)

      Dave,
I did a Google search for pinion mounted ebrakes a few years ago and came across some cool setups for Ford 9" and Dana 60's. A Chevelle guy from the East Coast (Google for Eynstein or something like that) developed a kit for 12-bolts, then 10-bolts. I bought his kit and installed it on my 10-bolt with some mods required. It turned out pretty cool. The thing I like about it is that I can run whatever calipers and rotors I want without ever worrying about ebrake compatibility. If you are interested let me know and I'll try to get some pics to ya.

      Try These Links

      Dave,
I will try to post links here to both my Yahoo Photos (look in Drivetrain or Brakes for the pinion ebrake) and to the Eynstein site as well. FOr more details email me at [email protected].
