      Welcome! My Dad use to have a '49 Ford p-up when I was 11-12 years old. I learned to drive a 3-on-the-tree in that truck. Brings back lots of good memories. Looks REAL nice slammed like that! Keep us updated with pics.

      I used to drive one of those to school when I was 16! Oh yeah! Flathead V8, 3 speed in the floor, no side windows but it did have some felix-pipe duals with Thrush mufflers......NICE...lol!
      It's still sitting in dads pasture.
      That will be an awesome project. Looks good slammed. Keep us posted.

      I just started a thread yesterday in the open discusion called "Pro Touring Truck?" & then today I find this project. You may have just helped me decide that my truck deserves the full treatment before I move on to the next project.
