      What's you take on this?

That is the link to a post on a General Lee fan club board I visit. John Schnieder is selling his General Lee on Ebay.

I think the asking price is a little rediculous myself, but there are some who say it's worth it. No one outside of the Dukes community is gonna give a hill of beans what has been done with the car. And I don't think comparing it to a HEMI Cuda is a fair statement either. If he gets $500K for the car, Bob should have got at least $2 mil for his Cuda. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

There's a conflict of interests here, IMO. A crazy Dukes nut might pay an obscene amount for the memorabilia aspect, but won't care about a 511 Hemi, and won't want to pay for the performance value. A Hemi Charger nut might pay a ton for a Hemi Charger, but probably couldn't care less about the Dukes of Hazzard, and won't want to pay extra for the "history". It looks like this guy is trying to total both of those figures up, and add a little on top. Not gonna happen.

I think a lot of his price too comes from the fact that he is the real Bo Duke selling his General Lee, and it's not a real screen used General either.
