      And here's the current condition:

Sone notes about these last pics:
The grey front end is all fiberglass and is being joined with a fg valance and bumper in the near future.
The 512 Max Wedge bullet is about half aluminum (Heads, intake & water pump) and the heavy exhaust manifolds have been replaced with 2.125" TTI steppped headers. It weighs about the same as a stock SB Mopar engine now.

One of my major goals was to get as much weight off the car as possible. I'm shooting for a 3000lb total weight (stock is about 3600lbs) car when finished. Most of that is coming from the nose of the car. These E-bodies have a nasty tendancy to understeer when pushed hard. It becomes almost rediculous when you have a big block up front. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve to shave a few more pounds from the suspension and brakes. These mods will also increasing handling and stopping performance so it'll be an ideal win-win situation when finished.

I'm a bit late to the show, but I sold my 70 Camaro a few years ago and have gone through a few cars since then, but I recently had the opportunity to buy back my old 1974 Road Runner that i restored back around 2001 so I jumped on it.

      It’s a 1974 Plymouth Road Runner
(yes it’s a Road Runner not a Satellite...people always seem to ask)
It has a 383, 883 4 speed (with pistol grip) and an 8-3/4 rear with 3.91 gears.

I am looking to upgrade the suspension, brakes, and most importantly the wheels and tires..

Anyway..here's a few photos of how it sits now (sorry they are not the best.. I'll get some better ones soon)

Welcome aboard!!!! Get ready to get addicted.

Hmmm... Now where have I seen that car before? LOL! Sweet Ride you got there Mr Angry!

Here's a quick update since I haven't been here in a little while.

I drove up and got the Challenger from PA last month and it now is in my storage unit here in TX. I had to scramble to make room in the storage unit (12'X32') for the car since it was raining heavily after I returned. That and the fact that I still need to repair the cowl area and the trunk weather strip rail made this a priority. After I got the car in out of the weather it changed from rainy to hotter than H#!! for the past couple of weeks. The heat index here has been over 100 almost every day for the last couple of weeks. I'm still working on it a little at a time but it feels like working inside an oven right now.

I'll try to post here more often as I continue to make progress. Here's a current pic to hold you guys (and me) over till then.

Are you asking me or d"Q"hemi?

If you're asking about dqhemi's car, it's got the full XV suspension treatment on it. I'm sure he can provide a link for you.

If you're asking about my car, the suspension is currently stock (for now) but the entire front clip is fiberglass from Unlimited Products.
