turbo v8 or lt1

Hey guys I just bought this car.. Its a 72 camaro with a turbo v8 350 ci. I dont know anythink about this set up. The car runs fine and has a nice punch after the turbo spools up. The thing is I bought a 97 lt1 motor and trans complete set up for this project before I bought the car. I want the car to be somewhat of a daily driver. And this old motor is a beast on gas... but a lot of fun can you guy tell me anything about this setup or do you thing I could put this turbo on my lt1 and by the way its not intercooled
