      Top three on your list.

I've seen alot of cars over the years, but there are 3 that really stick with me.
The first one was in a tidbit in one of the car rags in the early 80's.
It was a 64 Chevelle that was running at Limerock or some road course against porches and the like. Real road race set up.(The guys brother ran a 67 with the same set up)
The second was Keith Blacks early 80's Camaro that did it all, even on one of the big speedways.
The third one is Jeff Smiths 65 Chevelle. This one is more like Gray Baskerville's 32 than you would think.

Oop's I guess that is five.

      Whats your top 3-5?

      Doug

Herb Adams and D!CK Guldstrands cars in the 80's influenced the basics for me.

The Real Street Eliminator cars in the 90's captured the whole essence of what Pro-Touring is all about.

Mark Steilow's cars in the years after 2000 made it a reality and a goal to be as good or better than any of the modern muscle cars that we have now.

Then there has always been that urge to drive a racecar on the street ever since I could push a car with my hand. 1964 was a very big year for me and cars. The Mustang just came out and I got to get A.J.Foyt and Parnelli Jones's autograghs at the Rockford Speedway and people started giving me models to build and the whole car thing consumed me at the deepest part of my heart and still does.

Hi Martin, Thanks for including me in your list. It is amazing how time flies when building a PT car. I hope it has all been good influence

      In no particular order.......

Bad Penny - For us '68 owners....the Chairman Of The Board.

II Much - Like the name says...that car is just too much.

Camaro X - About the most perfect '69 Camaro you could ask for. All of Mark's "lesson's learned" are baked into that car. He built it in the tradition of Red Witch but added a modern flavor with the LS7. Aside from that he kept it relatively simple and understated. A perfect Hot Rod, if there ever was one.
      1968 Pro-Touring Camaro LS1

      - Completion; Sometime next year or the year after.....

      In no particular order:

      Trepaniers '60 Rumblur Wagon (mid - 90's)
      Blowfish

Roy Pigford's '66 Nova (SMOY winner)

Alan Johnson's '32 Ford (SBII engine)
      G-Force Cuda
'66 Nova (Interiors by Shannon, I believe was owned by Dave Verschave?? at one time, built in the late '80's, early 90's maybe)

'32 Ford P/up - George Poteet (Built by Brizio)

Rad Rides '32 Pedal Car (based off the SROY winner) I like the real version, but the pedal car version is over the top. Check the rest out at www.fordpedalcars.com.

I could go on, but these are the ones that have stuck with me.

      1. Big Red

      2. There was a turquiose 55-57 Chevy pickup that was in all the magazines around 10-15 years ago. It was slammed with trick suspension, brakes, etc, and a cage. It was also cheated up with some aero doo dads. It later sported a purple flame type paint job over the turquoise. I think it was crashed, but I can't say for sure.

      3. This Fox Mustang:

I have read other's peoples list and I remember more cars but you asked for three. So these are the ones that I think of:

Big Red And I'm not even a fan of Camaros.

The white and red striped Nascar 69 Charger.

Vintage Air's Black 200mph Studebaker. That one I always wanted to see it run against Big Red in an open road race. 200mph and the a/c on.

I could go on like the V-10 Charger, Ring Bros mustangs, Troy's Biscaynne, Shelby's twin turbo wedge Pantera, Leno's Toronado.

Big Red for sure. I wasn't even old enough to drive when that car debued but I still remember reading about it in a magazine and thinking it was so damned cool.

After that there are so many cool cars. I really like the Mule and Project Prodigy.

Definitely Red Witch. When I first saw that car in Hot Rod with the extra big corvette wheels I lost my shat !

Same issue had Nowaks and Engzlewithc black '69 Charger setup with stock car steelies and goodyear slicks. Never did hear how that car ran but I really liked it.

      G-Force Cuda affected me deeply.

I like Chicayne and Sick Fish a lot but they fall more into the show car category as do most other cool cars we've seen I kind of feel the same - looks good but I read a lot of RaceTech and RaceCar engineering mags and SEMA show cars kind of pale next to real race engineered setups.

The Mustang I'm building for the 3rd time right now is one of my favorite cars - although I really really want to build a TT GTM.

There is only one that I would sell a lot of **** to have...Scott Sullivan's Cheez Whiz 55 Chevy. Him and Smith drove it across the country, put some slicks on it and ran deep in the 10's. HE still has it..usually shows up at Columbus. One of these days his boredom and my checkbook will rub uglys.

Sweeet! Thanks for the Pedal car link; Brandon will be chill'n like a vill'n in the black 32 with flames! The wife will be happpy when she sees that!lolol

As for coolest rides all the above!

I am partial to Bills GTO, I have just never seen nothing like that. Johns Nova is TOO MucH; that man has gone nuts on that car! Love Prodigy, all of Michael, lisa, and Franks creations are top notch on the CooL scale, IMO. Twin Sting is off the Chain, so is the G-Force Cuda, Penny and Jagerangs Firebird, The Nascar Camaro needs to be street legal and I would take it?lol. The 3rd gen Black Trans Am twin turbo 540 that blew its tires off on the autocross track? That thing was absolutely crazy except for the whole David Hasselhoff ora?lol, sorry sweedish dudes, I had to throw that in there!
Well I guess about every car on this site?
