Reason #37 To stick with one bodyman

My original body man passed away and now the car is ready for paint. Or so I thought. After a bunch of time and money spent, the new guy walks the car and you can hardly see the primer through all of the marks he left behind. I feel like I have to start back at square one and am really not in the frame of mind to go through this all over again. I should've known by his body language as soon as I rolled up with the car. He wasn't very personable that day and some other guys on the shop made the remark that it wouldn't be a normal day without him complaining. To his credit, some of the comments he left behind are legit, but I the old guy (and I mean old as in years) replaced the driver's quarter with a side of a car I had from Texas and did a good job. The new guy says it needs to be replaced and that ain't gonna happen. Sorry for the vent but this is a good example of what can happen when you have to go to someone new.

Robert's 1969 Camaro - 2002 LS1/T56, 10pt cage, Global West Stage III front suspension, HTH truck arm rear suspension, Sprint Cup 9" full-floating rear end, Fikse Mach V 17" up front 18" in the back and still working on it...
