      No dont do that.
      Order a new bolt you can get them for cheap and they are needed to hold the pack together and the aluminum blocks crush and chaff too much.
      And the fact the head of the bolt locates the diff. Just bolting it together is a very unsafe thing to do, now if it was steel and thin, then it would be ok but for thick ones the bolt might shear under stress.
      I hate thick locating blocks especially aluminum, I have seen too many give some dangerous failures.
