Everything is of the potential for pro-touring; however, some platforms will obviously be more conducive than others. If that's the car you've chosen to build, than by all means pro-tour it!

thats a 6 incher, i was thinking of a 3 inch, and 13 inch disk brakes on all 4 corners with custom magnum 500 wheels 17X10 on rear and 17X8 up front, that it so far,oh yeah and and a 426 hemi stroker.thats the plan so far. and losing the rear skirts so I can fit a 12 to 14 inch wide rear tire

I have no idea why, but I love the look of those.

I would go with 18s,19s or even 20s on that particular car, smaller diameter will look like a rhino on rollerskates IMO. And it's screaming to be painted black!!!!! Talk about a heavy hitter!

I'd probably lose the hood scoop also....

Looks much better without the scoop, IMO.

      Hell Yes its a pro-touring candidate !
Anything you can make into a better than stock street machine and "tour" with it is a pro-touring machine.

Looks like a decent candidate if you dont mind spending some more for parts and such considering its not the most common vehicle, lose the cowl hood though, or at least tone it down a bit. The wheels on it now don't look too bad so I'd stick with that type of style! And the color and body lines leave a little to be desired, perhaps some body trim removal? Just my 2 cents, but it would stand out more once your done than the typical tourers you see

Would be a sweet ride. Reminds me of the Newport that Steve Strope built a few years ago.

If the attachment works, I lowered it, added the wheels from the Newport and moved the FuryIII badge on the fender down to the lower part of the fender. It looks kind of sloppy because I'm on a laptop and had to use the touchpad instead of a mouse.

The rest of the car is so clean that I wouldn't change anything else about the look of the car anyway.

One of the biggest drawbacks to doing a C body is the lack of decent torsion and sway bars. Expect to spend $$ for custom pieces or adapting other, off the shelf types. Rear leafs are easy enough. Other option is to totally redo the suspension with something else like coil overs or air ride.

Other issue is weight. No matter how big the engine, youw ill alway sbe at a disadvantage against a similarly powered car.

However, nothing will beat the "touring" aspect of a C barge crusing down the highway.

If you must scoop the hood, try the early Super Bee twin scoop style or 1st generation GTX twin scoops for a more subdued look. Both are available in the aftermarket.
