      Trick photography makes transparent hood.

      I was trying some "trick" photography this evening & thought I would share.

      you do two exposures, or actually you can do one.

      The one exposure method.
      Take a tripod, open hood, expose for x amount of time, cover lens, close hood, expose for x amount of time. End product is that.

      OOOORrrrrr.
      Take a shot on a tripod, with the hood open, then another with the hood closed, and merge them in photoshop.

      I used photoshop. Who uses film anymore? LOL

      Put camera on tripod take on pic with hood open, close hood, take another shot, merge the two together & make the layer with the hood closed somewhat transparent & the engine shows through.

      I could have done it different & must make a portion of the hood transparent, I was just fooling around. It took me longer to put the tripod up & take the pics than it did to make the photo.
