      Update on the Nova

As of last week the tail lights where being fitted. This proved to be more work than originally thought. The problem is that Novas have a slight curve to them in the back. So you are trying to fit a straight light in a surface that is slightly curved. Rear bumper was also cut up in a bunch of places and refitted. Now its only protruding out of the body line about a 1/2 inch. All of the gapping has just about been complete. Once the rear end is complete the front will be the final part of the body work. The brakes finally arrived as well. They are baer 6 pistons with "rad rides" inscribed on them. They are massive, something like 15" front 14" rear. Check this out.

Thanks for all the good comments. We are approaching 3 months into the build as of the end of this month. I would say theres probably about 6-7 weeks of fabrication left. The tail lights are pretty awesome and theres more work to them then meets the eye!

      Update

Stopped by the shop quickly to see what was up. As you guys saw the bumper and taillights are in. The area below the bumper has been finished up and looks sinister. The gas tank has also been installed. This required a little bit of work since we didn't want the tank to hang low. You really wont be able to see the tank when you look at the car from the rear. Rocker panels have been lengthened and are completed. Also the steering column is installed. After next week it will be onto the front end of things.

Haven't discussed paint at all. I think the tough part is going to be what style of rims we go with. Any ideas on that??

And look what I got while I was there!

      Update 7-25

Here are some picts of the current status. This thing went from restoration to a full out custom. Rear end is complete and they have started on the front. Jarad and Adam are doing most of the fab work. Unbelieveable quality from rad rides.
