Free phone tech for Pro-Touring.com members

I am going to do free phone tech for members. I am making myself available for 3 hours on Mondays and Thursday's from 6:00PM to 9:00PM eastern to answer questions about Pro Touring cars and build ups. These Pro Touring forums have been very good to Prodigy Customs and GP SuperStore, and we appreciate this opportunity as another way to "give back" to the community that helps us so much.

Many here may not know this, but for many years I was the Technical Editor and Restoration Director for the US Camaro, for whom did many seminars, magazine how to articles, video how to's and I also ran the tech line. During those days most of my calls where for original restoration subjects as that is where the hobby was at the time. I took calls during scheduled hours and helped a lot of people. While I got very bored with original cars, I really enjoyed doing the calls as anyone that knows me knows I like to talk about cars, LOL!

So I have been thinking about this for a while. Lately I have been getting a lot of calls from customers, potential customers, and even other vendors customers, wanting to pick my brain, get my thoughts and opinions on parts, combinations, or what components to buy to get the package they want at the budget they have set, or the goals they have set. Sometimes these budgets and goals go in separate directions and often I have to point this out. Often I find myself grounding people that have got caught up in the I gotta have........... because everyone else says so. So I decided I am going to do these scheduled tech sessions.

I will not pretend to have every answer, and every experience with every product. While we do not know everything, we have a little experience and are willing to share our "secrets".

You do not need to be a customer, you do not have to buy anything, this is something we are doing for all active members of this board and a couple others we frequent. All subjects relevant to Pro Touring cars are welcome.

I do not know how busy this is going to be, but if history serves, I may not get to everyone. I will stay on a call until that caller and I are finished, and if I hear the phone ringing in I will try to bring the present call to a end if the question (s) have been answered. So if you get a busy signal or voice mail, don't leave a message, just try back until I answer.

      Talk to you Thursday,

Another reason we should all be looking to Prodigy and the GP Superstore for our PT needs!!! Thanks Frank (and Lisa), you have already helped me a bunch, with more to come for sure.

Make sure you buy a big bottle of Excederin or a bottle of Whisky...maybe both. Good Luck and many thanks.
