Put Up or Shut Up :)

Ok guys.... I have talked a little with Larry and Bill and I am thinking about putting together a little autocross competition at the Year One experience specifically for ProTour cars and the Pro-Touring, Musclerides & Lateral G forum board members..... just think ... If you click of the fastest time you will be crowned the official "bad dude" with the official "bad car".... Now, anybody that shows up and even has the cajones to run around the autocross track will officially loose any "internet warrior only" title that you are carrying around. Help me out here and give me your thoughts !

I don't have my car in running condition, but I would say this is exactly what needs to be done, go for it!!! If you have your stuff complete and have been a "cyber stud" regarding your vehicles performance, jump in!

Someone can design a "poser" internet forum mascot and then we can put it on a shirt with the red circle and X through it. I'll get the shirts printed if someone can come up with a good design.
Maybe the fastest time will get a jacket or something.

      '89 Mustang - Welcome?

This might be a dumb question, but I didn't see it on Year One's site or Road Atlanta's site. What are the restrictions on vehicle year etc. for this event. Basically can my '89 Mustang attend? If so, and I can take off on vacation I'd be willing to abuse my little 'Stang.

Bret - it would give me a good chance to test out the freshly installed air ride stuff!

While we are on the subject watch for a Pro-Touring.com registration page in a few days. Our registration is seperate from Year One's registration so please do both if you plan to attend.

Sounds like a great idea, where would the car run?

That would be the image of a guy running around a racetrack on foot with nothing more than a keyboard in hand. Underneath the poser would be the saying: "My car is faster than your keyboard"
