You'd probably be better off getting springs, and then doing a brake conversion. That kit you were looking at did seem like a good deal though. You might want to try contacting touring classics because they sell brake kits very similar to what you where looking at only a little better. They use the PBR calipers also but use the c5 corvette style which is more rigid than the pbr c4 caliper used by the performance online kit. They don't show a kit for a 64 impala but call them cause they may have a kit anyway. www.touring-classics.com
