      proper Hertz/Shelby flogging 101

      A quick preview of my brother's Hertz rental car experience in California.

      They dont actuall rent a GT500 ...do they,its just the regular Mustang GT with the Shelby (GT350??) package right?

      They have a Shelby GT. I'm not sure if it has anything more than a regular GT or not.

      Hertz only has them in automatics from what I've read, so unless they make the Shelby in an automatic, they're probably just GT's with an appearance package.

      This is a link on the Shelby GT. The car that they sell comes in manual or auto but the Hertz rent-a-car is only in auto. Looks like they do a few things to it.

      Very cool! Nice to see it beaten in a controlled environment with no one else around; too many knuckleheads do that stuff on the street. The desert is much safer!
