      Hey Guys,

Decided to jump in since someone else is building a S-10. I originally built this truck to compete in Car Crafts Real Street Eliminator but the program went belly up. Now I'm looking for other outlets to really show off the truck. Maybe some 1/4 mile, full mile, road course????

Anyways, here's my take on a '99 Extreme with a 396ci '96 LT4 w/210 AFR's and a Yank 4L60E w/3500 stall. It made 415 hp to the ground 3 weeks ago w/o the aid of NO2. It rolls on Hart Racing 3 piece rims (17x9 / 17x11) with Pilot Sport 275/45 front and 335/35 out back. Front suspension consists of Hotchkis swaybar, Spohn tubular lower arms, Global West uppers and QA1 coilovers w/ 13" Baer brakes assisted by a Hydraboost. Out back, I have swapped in an 8.5 posi rear end from a S-10 Blazer w/ factory disc brakes and then upgraded to 31 spline Mosier axles, 3:73's, Auburn Pro Series diff, rear end girdle, Bilsteins and a Hotchkis sway bar. It still rides on factory ZQ8 leafs but traction is enhanced by Comp Engineering Slide-a-links.

I still have all of the creature comforts ie: a/c, power everything, stereo, bed cover, etc.....

My immediate future plans include throttle body upgrade (monoblade), TNT progressive NO2 and Delteq optispark.

My distant plans are a cage, fire supression system and a T56 (which is sitting in my garage)!

This is a fantastic sight!!! I wish my pics were better

Nice Pick um up truck! I've always liked those Extremes. Hit the 1/4 mile first then swap out the rear gears for that Texas Mile !!!
